Checking whether text reads the same both ways is one of the most common warm-up questions. The two-pointer check compares characters from both ends and stops at the first mismatch, using no extra memory. Use it for palindrome checks on words, numbers and cleaned sentences. Building the reversed string and comparing also works but uses O(n) extra space, which interviewers may ask you to avoid.
