A design lives in your head until you draw it, and the interviewer cannot review what they cannot see. A class diagram shows each class with its fields, methods and visibility, so the structure is clear at a glance. Draw one at the start of every LLD problem, right after you agree on requirements. You do not need perfect notation; the key classes with labelled relationships, explained as you draw, are what count.
